Job summary

Chedi Hospitality in Doha, Qatar seeks an IT Supervisor to oversee day-to-day IT operations for the hotel. You will provide technical support, manage backups, coordinate system repairs, and assist with hotel systems like PMS and POS while ensuring IT security and user access controls.

Prior hospitality IT experience is preferred. The role requires a degree or diploma in IT and at least two years' relevant experience, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in IT or related field.
• 2+ years IT experience, preferably in hotel/hospitality.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, hotel systems and IT security.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity or Microsoft technologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to hotel departments and employees.
• Monitor IT infrastructure, perform backups and assist with system restorations.
• Coordinate repairs and vendor support for IT systems and equipment.
• Support PMS, POS interfaces and hotel operational applications; maintain security measures.
• Maintain IT documentation, licenses, warranties and asset inventories.
