Job summary

voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in the heart of Doha, seeks a Sales Manager to drive business across key markets. You will develop relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, government entities, and key accounts while identifying new opportunities to boost hotel revenue.

You’ll conduct sales calls, negotiations, site visits, and presentations, collaborating with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience as a Sales Executive/Manager in hospitality with a record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of the Qatar market and established industry contacts is a plus.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, government entities, and key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate revenue across room sales, meetings, events, and group business.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections, and client meetings.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts with high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Negotiate contracts and rates in line with hotel revenue objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations teams to maximize sales performance.
• Participate in trade shows, networking events, and sales missions to promote the hotel.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and action plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Support the launch and positioning of the hotel during the pre-opening phase.
