Job summary

Minor Hotels seeks an experienced Marine Operations Leader for Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. You will oversee a fleet of vessels, train crews, and ensure safe, compliant operations across all marine activities.

The role requires 7–10 years in marina/marine environments, luxury sailing experience, and IMO certifications. Strong leadership, safety discipline, and guest service focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years solid marina/marine background required.
• Mandatory sailing experience for luxury yachts or cruise lines.
• Active navigation experience and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the marine operation and fleet for multiple boats and vessels.
• Provide training to skippers, crews and marine hostesses.
• Roster, leave management and performance records for crew.
• Inspect seaworthiness and ensure equipment functionality.
• Coordinate safety drills, rescue operations and sea trials.
• Maintain records for maintenance, inventories, and fuel usage.
• Liaise with coastguard, port authorities and third parties.
