Job summary

Minor Hotels' Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara is seeking an experienced maritime officer to lead the boat operations for guest transport and safety. You will manage crew, enforce safety procedures, and ensure vessel readiness and compliance with STCW standards.

The role requires Master 500, STCW, radio license, medical fitness, 2–5 years in the field, and strong English communication. You will coordinate with Port Captain and Management to deliver safe voyages and excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Master 500 / STCW / radio license / medical fitness to work at sea.
• 2–5 years of experience in the same field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, security and comfort of all passengers and crew.
• Train and monitor crew; oversee uniforms and conduct.
• Prepare and inspect vessel prior to departure; logbooks and manifests.
• Maintain communications; report safety issues to Port Captain and management.
• Ensure bunkering, refueling, and environmental policies are followed.
• Conduct daily operations briefings and safety checks.
