Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Marine Electrical Engineer for Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara, Doha, Qatar. This role covers installation, operation, and repair of electrical/electronic systems on vessels or marine facilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include maintenance of generators, switchboards, navigation and automation systems, plus coordination with engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/marine engineering or related discipline.
• STCW certification is an advantage.
• Experience with marine electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair marine electrical and electronic systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generators, switchboards, transformers and distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and minimize downtime on onboard systems.
• Read drawings and calibrate control systems; ensure compliance with safety standards.
