• Thorough understanding of the restaurant menu offerings and dietary considerations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for superb service.
• Strong leadership to supervise waitstaff and maintain team cohesion.
• Excellent organizational ability to manage reservations and seating flow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waitstaff performance, assign duties and ensure service standards.
• Greet guests, assist with seating and answer inquiries promptly.
• Train new staff on service procedures and menu knowledge.
• Create and manage waitstaff schedules to cover peak hours.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Address complaints with tact and resolve to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure dining areas, tables, chairs, and floors are clean and presentable.
• Promote upselling and special offers to increase revenue.
• Oversee cash handling and reconcile cash registers at end of shifts.
• Prepare reports, manage reservations, and update seating charts.
