Job summary

Powerholding Intl is seeking a Head Waiter to oversee front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service, coordinating seating, and supervising staff.

You will train staff, manage reservations, upsell promotions, handle cash and admin tasks, and work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, excellent communication, and a minimum 5 years in hospitality, with GCC experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, GCC is a plus.
• Leadership and customer relations experience required.
• Knowledge of menu, service procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee waitstaff performance, assign duties, and ensure service standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with seating.
• Train new staff on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
• Create and manage work schedules for waitstaff and ensure peak-hour coverage.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely delivery of food and drinks.
• Address complaints with tact and resolve to guest satisfaction.
• Ensure dining areas are clean and presentable at all times.
• Encourage upselling and promote promotions to boost revenue.
• Oversee cash handling and reconcile registers at the end of shifts.
• Prepare reports, manage reservations, and update seating charts.
