Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Fabrication Project Engineer / Construction Engineering Specialist to support the COMP5 project within the Fabrication Department. This role reports to the Fabrication Manager and requires coordinating with subcontractors, yards, and clients to ensure safe, on-time execution.

Key duties include developing execution strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with SHE, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 13 years of EPC fabrication experience.
• Experience with offshore facility projects beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication management and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point among subcontractors, fabrication yards, and clients regarding daily Fabrication SCTR activities.
• Prepare execution strategy and project start plans.
• Plan, manage and execute projects with focus on SHE, quality, and cost.
• Monitor material purchasing from PR to PO and delivery.

Purpose of the Position

Fabrication Project Engineer / Construction Engineering Specialist

Report to the Fabrication Manager and support the COMP5 project within the Fabrication Department.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point of communication among subcontractors, fabrication yards, and clients regarding daily activities of Fabrication SCTR and progress.
• Prepare execution strategy and plan prior to project start.
• Plan, manage, and execute projects with focus on safety, health and environment (SHE), quality, and cost.
• Ensure correct application of construction strategies and assess subcontractor performance against plans, identify remedial actions through site verification, and ensure proper execution.
• Monitor and track material purchasing process from PR to PO and delivery.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 13 years in EPC fabrication.
