Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Qatar is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional for Oil & Gas projects. The role requires 8 years' experience in Quality within the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight capacity for service/vendor personnel.

Candidates should have knowledge of industry standards and the ability to lead development and implementation of Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering required.
• Additional quality, welding or NDE inspection qualifications preferred.
• 8 years' experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• 1 year supervisory/acting/oversight experience.

Knowledge and/or Experience:-

• 8 years' experience in Quality in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Experience with Oil & Gas companies, Contractors, or Service Companies.
• Knowledge of Industry standards

Technical and Business Skills:-

• Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence decisions using presentation, negotiation and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage development and implementation of Quality Management Systems adapted to Oil & Gas industry
• Ability to interact with project management team and Contractors confidently
