Job summary

ConFlip in Doha, Qatar, seeks an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our fine dining kitchen. You will shape seasonal menus, oversee culinary operations, and ensure exceptional quality and presentation in every dish.

You will mentor staff, control costs, enforce food safety, and collaborate with front-of-house to deliver flawless service. The role requires a culinary degree and proven leadership in upscale dining.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in fine dining.
• Culinary degree or equivalent training.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor kitchen staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and update seasonal menus reflecting the restaurant concept and high standards.
• Manage food costs and inventory to minimize waste.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff including sous chefs and cooks.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment following health guidelines.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor production for consistency in taste, presentation, and portions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients.
• Address kitchen issues promptly and effectively.
