Job summary

Apparel Group in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver in-store service, promote products, and support store targets. You will interact with customers, maintain presentation standards, and handle transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and create a welcoming in-store experience.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on individual needs and preferences.
Convert browsing customers into buyers through attentive service, product knowledge, and effective selling techniques.
Follow the GUEST selling approach: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, and Thank.
Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales and strengthen customer retention.
Maintain current knowledge of products, collections, promotions, and brands within the group.
Use brand awareness and product knowledge to support suggestive selling and cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain a professional, presentable, and well-groomed appearance throughout each shift.
Ensure merchandise is displayed according to approved layout and presentation standards.
Follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain proper stock presentation across the sales floor.
Support clearance activity by ensuring applicable stock norms and display requirements are followed.
Record inventory movements accurately for inward and outward stock transactions.
Maintain required stock movement reports and communicate discrepancies when identified.
Operate the POS and billing counter efficiently during customer transactions.
Process payments accurately through cash, credit cards, vouchers, and approved electronic methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, change, and transaction documentation correctly.
Count and reconcile cash in the till at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.
Maintain awareness of store security requirements and report suspicious activity when necessary.
Follow company SOPs and loss prevention procedures at all times.
Protect confidential sales information and avoid sharing internal performance figures with unauthorized parties.
Support store maintenance and general operational duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
Maintain product presentation and help reduce preventable stock loss.
Work varied shifts, overtime, or extended hours when required during sales periods and peak trading seasons.
