Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and create a welcoming in-store experience.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products based on individual needs and preferences.
• Convert browsing customers into buyers through attentive service, product knowledge, and effective selling techniques.
• Follow the GUEST selling approach: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, and Thank.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales and strengthen customer retention.
• Maintain current knowledge of products, collections, promotions, and brands within the group.
• Use brand awareness and product knowledge to support suggestive selling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain a professional, presentable, and well-groomed appearance throughout each shift.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to approved layout and presentation standards.
• Follow visual merchandising guidelines and maintain proper stock presentation across the sales floor.
• Support clearance activity by ensuring applicable stock norms and display requirements are followed.
• Record inventory movements accurately for inward and outward stock transactions.
• Maintain required stock movement reports and communicate discrepancies when identified.
• Operate the POS and billing counter efficiently during customer transactions.
• Process payments accurately through cash, credit cards, vouchers, and approved electronic methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, and transaction documentation correctly.
• Count and reconcile cash in the till at the beginning and end of assigned shifts.
• Maintain awareness of store security requirements and report suspicious activity when necessary.
• Follow company SOPs and loss prevention procedures at all times.
• Protect confidential sales information and avoid sharing internal performance figures with unauthorized parties.
• Support store maintenance and general operational duties assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Maintain product presentation and help reduce preventable stock loss.
• Work varied shifts, overtime, or extended hours when required during sales periods and peak trading seasons.
