Job summary

Client of Brunel in Doha seeks an experienced Offshore Commissioning Lead to validate test sheets, supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning, and ensure safe handover to operations.

You will coordinate punch lists, verify contractor dossiers, and track progress with CMS tools such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS and Hexagon. Requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 8+ years on large oil & gas projects with strong leadership and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences with 8+ years in large-scale oil & gas commissioning.
• Proven supervisory or oversight experience on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of completion certificates, CMS, QA/QC and HSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Witness contractors' scope of work and validate test sheets per project requirements.
• Follow-up construction activities and progress during pre-shutdown and shutdown of Brownfield WHPs and RTs.
• Oversee offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning activities ensuring safety and compliance.
• Coordinate punch list creation, categorization and clearance via weekly contractor meetings.
• Verify completeness of contractor completion dossiers from mechanical completion to handover.
• Monitor preservation activities to meet project standards.
• Share lessons learned for inclusion in the project lessons learned register.
• Track subsystems via the completion management system and ensure timely handovers.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Witness contractors scope of work and validate test and check sheets in accordance with project requirements
• Follow-up construction activities and progress during pre-shutdown and shutdown of the Brownfield WHPs amp RTs
• Oversee Brownfield offshore Pre-Commissioning amp Commissioning execution activities and ensure their safety and compliant
• Follow-up punch list creation categorization and clearance via weekly meeting with Contractor
• Verify the completeness of CONTRACTOR s completion dossiers for mechanical completion pre-commissioning and commissioning through to handover to permanent asset
• Monitor and verify Contractor s preservation activities and ensure it meets project requirements
• Coordinate capture and share SC Lessons Learned LL for inclusion in the project lessons learned register
• Monitor progress and status of subsystems using the completion management system and ensure timely handovers
• Oversee and control all mechanical completion MC pre-commissioning CSA and commissioning documentation

Qualifications

• RFSU Bachelor's Bachelors Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering 8 years experience with large-project commissioning in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Completion certificate types Strong decision making and prioritization skills under pressure technical, analytical, and interface skills.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of punch list categorization Experience using Completion Management Systems (CMS) data base such as PIMS, WinPCS, ICAPS, Hexagon or similar.
• Familiarity with construction, QA/QC, and Operations interfaces.
• Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards and safe system handover practices.
• A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures of offshore site environment.
• Effective coordination with all parties involved and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational and technical judgment skills Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Excellent communication skills to read, write, and speak fluent English Have pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience as a commissioning performer on major Oil & Gas projects.
