Job summary

Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking a seasoned Head of Kitchen to lead daily culinary operations for our luxury outlets. You will ensure exceptional food quality, supervise the culinary team, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in 5-star hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu development, cost control, and food safety standards (HACCP).
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop high-performing kitchen teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of kitchen outlets, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.
• Manage, train, coach, and motivate the culinary team to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Develop menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings with the Executive Chef.
• Monitor food/labor costs, inventory, and purchasing to meet budgets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Maintain recipe consistency, portion control, and production standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure outstanding guest experience.
• Assist in recruitment, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning within the kitchen team.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in culinary offerings.
