Job summary

BAE Systems in Qatar seeks a Training Cell Team Leader to design and update training tools and records, ensuring maintenance personnel are competent and compliant with regulations. You will lead the team, deliver inductions and safety trainings, and liaise with external agencies to refresh courses.

The role requires Typhoon knowledge, engineering background, and strong leadership, with responsibility for maintaining training records and supporting safety and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Requires Typhoon aircraft knowledge within own technical area.
• Leadership foundation and ability to guide a team.
• Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent).
• Awareness of ITAR/EaPW and safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and update training materials reflecting system changes and upgrades.
• Lead the Training Cell to ensure competency and currency of maintenance personnel.
• Establish and maintain training schedules and delivery programmes.
• Deliver induction, continuation, manual handling, and working at height training as required.
• Coordinate with external agencies for refresher training and courses.
• Maintain training records to evidence compliance for audits and regulators.
• Support IMS training and SHE briefings with on-site coordinator.
