Job summary

Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is seeking an Assistant Villa Operations Manager to support the Villa Operations Manager in delivering luxury guest experiences across the resort's private villas. • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality-related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in villa or luxury resort operations.
• Experience in 5-star hotels with butler or villa hosting.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of all villas.
• Supervise Villa Hosts and ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate villa check-ins, check-outs, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Inspect villas before guest arrivals to ensure luxury standards.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest preferences, and personalized services.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Schedule and coach Villa Hosts and monitor their performance.
• Ensure compliance with resort SOPs, health, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor operational costs and support departmental budgeting.
• Maintain accurate guest history and preferences in the property management system (Opera).

Required Qualifications

• Experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, preferably with butler or villa host services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
