Raffles & Fairmont Doha invites you to lead our Banquets & Events operation as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. You will drive luxury weddings, conferences and corporate events, while elevating guest experience and profitability.

Lead, mentor and develop multicultural teams, collaborate with Sales, Culinary, Finance and Rooms to deliver seamless events, and ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations in a dynamic luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Admin or related field.
• 6-8 years in Food & Beverage luxury hospitality with senior Banquets leadership.
• Proven experience managing large-scale banquets, weddings, conferences and corporate events.
• Strong commercial acumen to drive revenue, profitability and cost efficiency.
• Excellent leadership and team development for multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of luxury service standards and guest experience.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management experience.
• Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Banquets and Events operation to drive revenue and profitability.
• Oversee planning and delivery of luxury weddings, conferences and corporate events.
• Champion service standards and guest experience across all events.
• Collaborate with Sales, Culinary, Finance and Rooms to ensure seamless events.
• Mentor and develop the Banquets leadership and teams.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety, and licensing requirements.
• Represent Banquets in absence of the Director of F&B.
• Drive innovation in event concepts and banquet offerings.
