Job summary

Hamad International Airport is seeking a senior IT leader to own and lead critical airport IT systems, ensuring 24/7 availability for passenger journeys, baggage operations, and airfield activities. You will oversee incident response, system stability, security, and high performance of mission-critical platforms.

In this role you will manage a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment, drive major incidents end-to-end, coordinate with internal IT colleagues, and deliver ongoing improvements

Qualifications

• 8+ years in airport IT systems (AODB / BHS) or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of teams in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong ownership of incident & problem management.
• Experience working with internal IT teams, not solely vendor-side.
• Experience in large-scale airport operations environments.
• Exposure to cyber/IT operational processes.
• Ability to manage high operational complexity and multiple priorities.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24/7 support of critical airport IT systems (AODB, BHS, operations platforms).
• Take full ownership of incidents and ensure rapid recovery.
• Drive stability, availability, and security of live operations.
