Job summary

Minor International’s Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara in Qatar is seeking an Adventure Park Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and operate all adventure park equipment, ensuring safety and guest enjoyment.

You will conduct daily pre-opening inspections, perform preventive maintenance on ropes courses and related gear, maintain records, and support safety audits. This role requires diligent workmanship and strict safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of all adventure park attractions and equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on ropes courses, zip lines, climbing elements, harnesses, helmets, belay devices, and associated equipment.
• Inspect structural components, cables, platforms, anchors, pulleys, braking systems, and safety devices to ensure operational integrity.
• Carry out repairs and replace worn or damaged components as required.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, and equipment service documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable industry standards.
• Report safety hazards, equipment defects, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist with annual inspections and third-party safety audits.
• Support emergency response procedures and assist during technical rescues when required.
• Maintain workshop tools, spare parts inventory, and maintenance equipment.
• Coordinate with operations staff to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards.
• Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training programs.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new attractions and equipment when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary The Adventure Park Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all adventure park equipment and facilities. This role ensures that all attractions, including ropes courses, zip lines, climbing walls, harnesses, belay systems, and other technical equipment, are maintained in accordance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures. The technician plays a key role in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
