Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Operations/SRE professional to ensure the availability and performance of production analytics platforms. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and drive automation across Windows Server, Azure, and databases, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate brings strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell/Bash), hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana, and a focus on

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations, SRE, or a similar role.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience, on-prem and Azure.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems, focusing on analytics platforms.
• Proactively monitor services, investigate incidents, outages, and perform RCA for permanent fixes.
• Administer Windows Server environments and manage SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases (on-prem and Azure).
• Design and optimize automation for tasks, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to support releases and platform improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 service reliability.
