Position: Video Content Moderator (German-speaking)

We are looking for a German-speaking Video Content Moderator to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will review and moderate user-uploaded video content to ensure it complies with platform guidelines. This is a key position in maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging online environment for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate user reports related to video content on a streaming platform

Assess and moderate sensitive content, which may include graphic or disturbing material

Audit, classify, and update content in accordance with internal guidelines

Maintain a solid understanding of client policies, products, and services

Make fair, consistent, and policy-compliant decisions to resolve user inquiries

Ensure strict adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards

Requirements

Language Skills

Fluent German (C2) written and spoken

Experience & Skills

Minimum 6 months of experience in content moderation, customer support, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)

Comfortable working on rotating shifts, including occasional nights and weekends

Strong computer literacy and ability to adapt to new tools and systems quickly

High tolerance for viewing sensitive or distressing content

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills

Patient, professional, and customer-focused communication style

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Adaptable to repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
