Cognizant in Lisbon, Portugal seeks a Video Content Analyst to help classify and review content for privacy and policy compliance. The role is office-based with rotative 24/7 shifts, and requires strong language skills in Portuguese (C1) and English (B2), plus keen attention to detail.

You will join a multinational team, receive comprehensive training, and access development opportunities, medical coverage, life insurance, and relocation support for new hires relocating to Portugal.

• Portuguese language proficiency at C1 level and English at B2 level.
• Availability to work on a 24/7 shift from the office, including weekends.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

• Neutral mindset towards alternative video content that requires classification.
• Ability to review content that may be inappropriate or sensitive.

Responsabilidades

• Review and process incoming privacy requests through online tools.
• Analyze and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action promptly.
• Review reported content within agreed turnaround times and quality standards.
• Continuously educate about policy changes and protocols.
• Address complex privacy cases and regulatory inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members on projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

We are looking for:

• Proficiency of Portuguese language at min. C1 level and English at B2 level,
• Availability to work on 24/7 shift (including weekend shifts) from the office,
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills,
• Quick learning and organizational skills - adaptability to learn new processes, concepts,
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard,
• Having a neutral mindset to alternative video content that needs classification,
• Ability to review content that may be deemed inappropriate and/or contain sensitive and explicit material, sometimes involving graphic, discriminatory or otherwise disturbing subjects on text or video formats.

Content Moderators play an important role in ensuring the safety of online communities against harmful user generated content. Safeguarding the online communication space can lead to meaningful and rewarding work for a content moderator as the mission of moderation aims to create positive, safe and inclusive environments for everyone.

Rewarding outcomes are not often without challenges. As a part of the job requirement, you will be required to review and analyze explicit and extremely sensitive content sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing text, videos, and images which may be disturbing due to their egregious nature. The content under review is likely to expose the reviewer to crime scenes, dangerous or derogatory content, abuse, harassment and sexually explicit content.
