Job summary

EDP in Lisbon is seeking a Process & AI Solutions Specialist to automate business processes using AI and automation tools. You will analyse operational processes, design AI-driven solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

You will coordinate internal requests via Onerequest and work with Legal, GBS and other departments to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes. A strong analytical mindset and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Experience implementing AI solutions and process automation to optimize business processes.
• Experience in process analysis, optimization and redesign.
• Ability to analyse operational processes and design AI solutions that support decision-making and task execution by end users.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise technical operations and manage cross-functional initiatives involving internal and external teams.
• Experience implementing solutions that guide users through complex processes, ensuring consistency, compliance and high-quality outcomes.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ensuring effective documentation, communication and implementation of process changes across teams.
• Strong analytical skills, with a results-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive, autonomous and critical-thinking profile, able to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive the adoption of new methodologies, tools and ways of working.
• Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously, consistently ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up operational processes related to payments and rental payments.
• Liaise with GBS regarding requests for creation of insurance guarantees, including deadline control and release.
• Coordinate with Legal on municipal tax payments and semi-annual monitoring.
• Perform activities in JUMP, including supplier creation, purchase requisition creation, goods receipt, payment of official notices and fees.

Process & AI Solutions Specialist

We are looking for a Process & AI Solutions Specialist to join our team.

Main responsibilities

• Automate business processes through Artificial Intelligence technologies, programming and automation tools
• Monitor, manage and coordinate activities (PBI)
• Analyse operational processes and design AI solutions that support decision-making and task execution by users
• Define, create and follow up guidelines to respond to internal requests (Office Supplies / Decision Requests / Equipment Requests with related market consultations / Petty Cash) from the Assets and Project Design areas through the Onerequest platform
• Design decision and follow-up flows for operational processes related to contract management (Labelec) and other processes
• Manage and follow up operational processes related to payments requested by entities (GNR/PSP/Fire Department) and rental payments
• Manage and liaise with GBS regarding requests for the creation of insurance guarantees, including interaction with requesters, deadline control and follow-up for the release of guarantees
• Follow up, manage and liaise with Legal regarding the payment of Municipal Tax requests, including semi-annual monitoring
• Perform activities in JUMP, including supplier creation, purchase requisition creation, goods receipt, payment of official notices and payment of fees

What are we looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or, preferably, Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field. A degree in Mathematics, Data Science or equivalent can also be considered
• Knowledge and practical experience in implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions and process automation to optimise business processes
