SEGULA Technologies, a global leader in engineering and consulting, is seeking a Technical Leader + Scrum Master to join their team in Aveiro, Portugal. This role involves driving architectural consistency on a digital transformation project and guiding the development team through agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Engineering, experience in leading development teams, and strong technical knowledge in Angular and GCP environments. The position requires full professional fluency in English and can be based in or near Aveiro.

Overview

SEGULA Technologies, a global leader in high-value Engineering and Consulting services with over 15,000 engineers across more than 30 countries, is looking for a TECHNICAL LEADER + SCRUM MASTER to join our project team based in Aveiro, Portugal, with work on-site.

We're looking for someone who can combine technical and methodological leadership: driving architectural consistency on a digital transformation project for an automotive industrial platform while guiding the development team through agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure architectural consistency of the solution across all phases of the project.
• Review the most technically complex modules, safeguarding quality and development best practices.
• Maintain the team's delivery velocity and quality.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) as the team's Scrum Master.
• Coordinate Frontend, Backend, Architecture, API Integration, QA, and DevOps profiles within an agile delivery environment.
• Ensure compliance with the project's defined architecture and integration standards (GCP, API-first, event-driven).

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead and/or Scrum Master on software development projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of Angular, NestJS/Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and managing development teams.
• Experience in GCP environments (GKE, Cloud SQL).
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and CI/CD environments.
• Full professional fluency in English (all corporate reporting, project governance, and documentation are strictly in English).
• Based in or near Aveiro, or available to relocate and work on-site.

Nice To Have

• Experience leading refactoring or industrialization projects on existing solutions.
• Knowledge of Apigee, Solace, or similar integration architectures.
