webook.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical delivery for a high-traffic platform in Lisbon. You will own system design, drive coding standards, and contribute hands-on when needed.

You will mentor engineers, align product priorities with architectural decisions, and ensure production readiness. Strong background in Laravel/PHP, databases, and cloud infrastructure is essential.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience delivering high-traffic mission-critical platforms.
• Open-source contributions or technical thought leadership is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own system design, code quality, and engineering standards.
• Lead scalable, reliable software solutions with quality.
• Review code and guide architectural decisions; ensure testing and observability.
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term system health.
• Mentor engineers and foster ownership; support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
• Work with Product and Design to translate business needs into technical solutions.
