You will own data structures and databases, ensuring speed and reliability as we grow, while collaborating with product, design, and engineering to ship key features. A 6+ year track record and multi-language fluency are expected in a fast-moving startup.

• 6+ years building backend systems and strong academic foundations (mandatory).
• Versatile backend engineer, comfortable working across more than one programming language.

• Build & Scale: design, develop, test, deploy and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs that power our platform.
• Own the Data: work with databases end to end — structure, optimization and integrity — so the product stays fast and reliable as we grow.
• Collaborate: partner closely with product, design and engineering to ship features that matter.
• Optimize: monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously strengthen our backend infrastructure.
• Innovate: bring ideas to the table on technical challenges and where the product goes next.
