Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned IT Operations/Production professional to lead the Application Support team. You will ensure production health across Windows and Linux, manage batch processing with Control-M, and support deployments while driving DevOps practices and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT Operations/Production, focused on Application Support or Technical Lead.
• Advanced administration on Windows and Linux, plus Shell/Bash scripting.
• Strong experience with Tomcat, Apache and JBoss environments.
• Expertise in batch processing with Control-M and file transfers via CFT/Connect Express.
• Familiarity with AWS, monitoring (Dynatrace) and ITSM (ServiceNow) following ITIL v4.
• Proven technical leadership: planning, mentoring and stakeholder communication.
• English (B1) and French (B1/B2) proficiency for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical activities for the Application Support team.
• Ensure availability, stability, and performance of production solutions; manage MCO and SLA adherence.
• Oversee batch processes using Control-M and monitor executions.
• Manage daily operations across Windows and Linux environments and file transfers via CFT/Connect Express.
• Provide strong technical support to development and application teams during production implementations.
• Champion DevOps best practices, emphasizing observability, automation, security and continuous improvement.
