Job summary

Syone is seeking an Application Support specialist to join a project in the banking and insurance sector. You will provide L3 production support in Linux environments, manage deployments, and monitor stability to ensure business-critical applications stay available.

You will automate operational processes with scripting and coordinate with infrastructure and development teams. Expect an on-call rotation to support 24/7 critical systems and DRP readiness as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Linux environments / IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of Linux; Windows Server is a plus.
• Experience with Shell scripting and Python.
• Knowledge of WebSphere and JBoss.
• Knowledge of SSL certificates, reverse proxy, and load balancing.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M and VTOM.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and ELK.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.

• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and production support skills.
