Syone is seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join the Porto team. You will support Windows and Linux environments, manage VMware and NetApp storage, and contribute to automation with PowerShell. The role entails incident handling, deployments, and ensuring service quality against SLAs.

The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, ITIL familiarity, and excellent collaboration abilities in a multicultural setting, with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in Windows and Linux system administration.
• VMware vCenter experience in complex environments.
• Expert-level troubleshooting of Windows Server environments.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM for patching and deployment.
• Storage/Cluster management with NetApp or similar.
• Networking fundamentals and security best practices.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.
• DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and GPOs.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication within a multicultural team.
• English at B2 level.
• Willingness to provide technical weekend support and occasional holiday coverage.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto. The team will be responsible for the support functions in scope across all platform, ticket and incident management, continual service improvements and other tasks associated to the specific function of each team member.

Main Tasks and Responsabilities:

• Infrastructure Support: Provide Level 2 and Level 3 Windows Server support.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex Windows Server and VMware virtualization issues.

• ITIL Management: Handle incidents, problems, and change requests in line with ITIL frameworks.

• Deployment & Patching: Install physical servers and deploy applications and patches using SCCM/MECM.

• Automation: Develop and continuously improve PowerShell scripts and other automation tools.

• Storage Management: Execute NetApp storage migration and implementation tasks.

• Service Continuity: Maintain assets in operational condition (MCO) and ensure service quality meets SLA requirements.

• Operations Coordination: Coordinate planned technical operations and participate in IT interventions and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).

• System Monitoring: Participate in the oversight, monitoring, and proactive risk analysis of server environments.

• Design & Alignment: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining services to ensure infrastructure aligns with corporate Group standards.

• Collaboration: Maintain close cooperative relationships with other entities and teams within the infrastructure department.

• Security & Compliance: Follow, implement, and maintain industry-best security practices.

• Documentation: Draft clear technical documentation and standard operational procedures.

What you will need to bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• OS Administration: Professional experience in both Windows and Linux system administration.

• Virtualization: Professional experience with VMware vCenter in complex environments.

• Windows Server: Expert-level troubleshooting mastery of Windows Server environments.

• Deployment Tools: Experience with industrialization and deployment tools, specifically MECM/SCCM for application patching and deployment.

• Storage & Clusters: Professional experience managing clusters and SAN storage technologies (e.g., NetApp).

• Networking: Strong familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.

• Automation: Solid knowledge and practical experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and task optimization.

• Core Infrastructure: Proficient understanding and troubleshooting skills in DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and GPOs.

• Soft Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Collaboration: Effective communication skills with the ability to work successfully within a multicultural team.

• Language: B2 level of English proficiency.

• Availability: Willingness and availability to provide technical weekend support and occasional holiday coverage.
