Itrecruiter is seeking a Senior Technical Domain Lead to own end-to-end technical delivery for the e-commerce domain in Portugal. You will coordinate Tech Leads and engineering teams while shaping a sustainable technical roadmap aligned with product and business goals.

You will drive AI-assisted development andDevOps ownership, balancing hands-on depth with leadership, as you connect technology, product, and business decisions. Hybrid onsite in Maia two days weekly.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience with senior/expert responsibilities.

• Strong hands-on Salesforce Commerce / SFRA experience in e-commerce.
• Experience with React in headless e-commerce architectures.

• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Weare looking for a Senior Technical Domain Lead to takeend-to-end technical ownership of an e-commerce domain,combining strong engineering leadership, architecture, delivery, and peoplecoordination.

Thisis a highly influential role for someone who can connect technology,product, and business, coordinate multiple engineering teams,anticipate delivery risks, and shape a sustainable technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities You will act as the technical reference for the e-commerce domain and will be responsible for:

• Owning the end-to-end technical delivery across development, quality, release, and operations.
• Coordinating Tech Leads and engineering teams, supporting architectural decisions and resolving technical conflicts.
• Shaping and communicating the medium-term technical strategy in close collaboration with technology leadership.
• Translating business and product objectives into an executable technical roadmap.
• Identifying technical and implementation risks early, including architecture, dependencies, delivery capacity, and cross-team constraints.
• Removing cross-team delivery blockers and ensuring technical alignment between teams.
• Balancing hands‑on technical depth with people, process, and delivery leadership.
• Standardizing shared engineering tools, practices, architectural guidelines, Skills and Rules.
• Driving the adoption of AI‑assisted software development, including harnesses, Skills/Rules, and coding agents.
• Promoting a true DevOps ownership model, where teams take responsibility for the complete lifecycle from development through production operations.

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with senior/expert-level responsibilities.
• Previous experience providing technical leadership across multiple engineering teams, such as Senior Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, Technical Domain Lead, or equivalent.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SalesforceCommerce / SFRA, including architecture, customization, and operation within an e-commerce environment.
• Experience with React in headless e-commerce architectures.
• Proven ability to combine technical depth with people/team coordination.
• Experience resolving cross‑team delivery challenges, dependencies, and conflicting technical priorities.
• Ability to define and communicate a medium‑term technical strategy aligned with Product and Business stakeholders.
• Experience identifying, communicating, and managing implementation and delivery risks.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development models— harnesses, Skills/Rules, coding agents — or strong ability and willingness to adopt them quickly.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.
• Availability to work 2 days per week onsite in Maia.
• Availability to start by the end of September 2026.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Service, SalesforceOMS and/or Data 360.
• Previous experience in Retail, E-commerce, Health & Beauty environments.
• Experience with system integrations through API gateways such as Gravitee or Solace.
• Strong exposure to modern DevOps operating models and full software lifecycle ownership.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable being accountable without having direct hierarchical control over every team member. You should be able to influence Tech Leads, engineers, Product and Business stakeholders through technical credibility, communication, and sound decision‑making.

You should also bring a pragmatic approach to technical debt, understand business roadmaps, maintain team motivation during high‑pressure periods, and know when to challenge, prioritize, or compromise to keep delivery moving without losing technical coherence.
