iTRecruiter is seeking a Senior Technical Domain Lead to own end-to-end delivery for an e-commerce domain in Maia, Portugal. The role combines engineering leadership, architecture, and delivery across multiple teams in a hybrid setup.

You will influence tech leads, engineers, and stakeholders, shaping a sustainable technical roadmap and balancing delivery with architectural coherence. Portuguese and English fluency are required, with 2 onsite days per week in Maia.

Weare looking for a Senior Technical Domain Lead to takeend-to-end technical ownership of an e-commerce domain,combining strong engineering leadership, architecture, delivery, and peoplecoordination.

Thisis a highly influential role for someone who can connect technology,product, and business, coordinate multiple engineering teams,anticipate delivery risks, and shape a sustainable technical roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

You will act as the technical reference for thee-commerce domain and will be responsible for:

• Owning the end-to-end technical deliveryacross development, quality, release, and operations.
• Coordinating Tech Leads and engineering teams,supporting architectural decisions and resolving technical conflicts.
• Shaping and communicating the medium-termtechnical strategy in close collaboration with technologyleadership.
• Translating business and product objectivesinto an executable technical roadmap.
• Identifying technical and implementationrisks early, including architecture, dependencies, delivery capacity, andcross-team constraints.
• Removing cross-team delivery blockersand ensuring technical alignment between teams.
• Balancing hands-on technical depth with people,process, and delivery leadership.
• Standardizing shared engineering tools,practices, architectural guidelines, Skills and Rules.
• Driving the adoption of AI-assistedsoftware development, including harnesses, Skills/Rules,and coding agents.
• Promoting a true DevOps ownership model,where teams take responsibility for the complete lifecycle fromdevelopment through production operations.

• 8+ years of relevant professionalexperience, with senior/expert-level responsibilities.
• Previous experience providing technicalleadership across multiple engineering teams, such asSenior Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, Technical Domain Lead, orequivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with SalesforceCommerce / SFRA, including architecture, customization,and operation within an e-commerce environment.
• Experience with React in headless e-commerce architectures.
• Proven ability to combine technicaldepth with people/team coordination.
• Experience resolving cross-teamdelivery challenges, dependencies, and conflictingtechnical priorities.
• Ability to define and communicate a medium-termtechnical strategy aligned with Product and Businessstakeholders.
• Experience identifying, communicating, andmanaging implementation and delivery risks.
• Experience with AI-assisted development models— harnesses, Skills/Rules, coding agents — or strong ability andwillingness to adopt them quicky.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.
• Availability to work 2days per week onsite in Maia.
• Availability to start by the end of September 2026.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Service, SalesforceOMS and/or Data 360.
• Previous experience in Retail,E-commerce, Health & Beauty environments.

We are looking for someone who is comfortablebeing accountable without having directhierarchical control over every team member. You should be able toinfluence Tech Leads, engineers, Product and Business stakeholders throughtechnical credibility, communication, and sound decision-making.

You should also bring a pragmatic approach to technical debt, understand businessroadmaps, maintain team motivation during high-pressure periods, and know whento challenge, prioritize, or compromise to keep delivery moving without losingtechnical coherence.
