Role Overview

We are looking for an Tech Lead (OutSystems) to join our teams and support a high-impact digital transformation environment.

In this role, you will take technical ownership of a portfolio of live OutSystems applications and SaaS solutions while leading the delivery of innovative capabilities that address critical business challenges. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you will actively contribute to development, drive architectural decisions, mentor a small autonomous team, and ensure the quality, scalability, and long‑term sustainability of the application ecosystem.

What you will do

• Lead the technical architecture and design of enterprise‑grade solutions across the OutSystems ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business objectives and engineering best practices;
• Take ownership of the quality, performance, maintainability, and production readiness of both new developments and existing applications;
• Develop and deliver new applications, integrations, and digital capabilities while balancing innovation with the health and evolution of the current application portfolio;
• Guide and mentor development teams, establishing engineering standards, promoting AI‑augmented development practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence;
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to validate solutions, challenge assumptions, and ensure technology decisions deliver measurable business value.

What you are like

• Experience with OutSystems ODC and O11, with hands‑on experience delivering and maintaining production‑grade applications;
• Experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, and end‑to‑end ownership of software delivery initiatives;
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application development, systems integration, backend solutions, performance optimisation, and architectural design patterns;
• Comfortable using AI‑powered development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Mentor, or similar platforms to improve productivity and delivery quality;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
