Rumos Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to provide Level 2/3 support for Windows servers and VMware environments in Porto. The role includes ITIL process management, system supervision, and deployment of patches using SCCM/MECM.

You will also develop PowerShell scripts and help maintain secure, compliant infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field, 6+ years of experience, strong Windows Server expertise, and knowledge of NetApp SAN/NAS.

Qualificações

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in similar roles.
  • Professional experience in Windows and Linux systems administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows Server environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows Server (2019/2022/2025).
  • Experience with MECM/SCCM deployment and automation tools.
  • Professional experience with Cluster and SAN Storage technologies.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load-balancing solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of storage solutions, particularly SAN and NAS (NetApp).
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and GPO, including troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong networking knowledge and experience with monitoring tools (preferably Zabbix).
  • Fluency in English; Good knowledge of French is valued.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows servers.
  • Manage ITIL processes, including incidents, problems, and change requests.
  • Troubleshoot Windows servers and VMware virtualization environments.
  • Coordinate planned technical operations.
  • Participate in system supervision and monitoring activities.
  • Perform physical server installations and deploy applications and patches using SCCM/MECM.
  • Develop and improve PowerShell scripts and other tools.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and escalate issues when necessary, identifying areas of operational risk.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of services within the team’s scope.
  • Create operational documentation and procedures.
  • Follow and implement security best practices.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of service quality in compliance with SLAs within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO) of managed assets.
  • Ensure that the implemented infrastructure complies with Group standards and IT service requirements.
  • Participate, when required, in structural projects, IT interventions, and Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Experience in the migration and implementation of NetApp storage solutions.
