Job summary

Grünenthal Group in Lisboa seeks a Supply Planning professional to manage end-to-end planning and inventory optimization within a global operations context.

You will partner with Production Planning, External Supply, Demand Managers, and regional teams to align strategies with market needs, while driving continuous improvement in service levels and inventory efficiency.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Production Planning (preferably in Pharma or FMCG).
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP-R3 (Power BI, Kinaxis is a plus!).
• A natural leader, able to drive projects and teams toward success.
• A collaborator who values diverse perspectives and thrives in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Supply Chain partners to ensure seamless coordination.
• Work with regional teams and stakeholders to align global supply strategies with market needs.
• Become the go-to expert for inventory management and service optimization.
• Identify and resolve supply chain challenges to improve customer service and inventory outcomes.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve supply issues with functional partners to address root causes.
• Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, and Demand teams to ensure smooth product launches and phase-in/phase-out planning.
• Oversee planning activities related to product phase-ins and phase-outs to keep supply chain agile.
• Drive end-to-end planning meetings for each Value Stream and prepare for monthly Operational Reviews.
• Provide strategic supply input into S&OP/IBP processes emphasizing risk and opportunity transparency.
• Track KPIs like inventory turns, service levels, forecast accuracy, and supply reliability.

What The Job Looks Like
