Job summary

University of Porto is seeking a Student Engagement Officer for the EUGLOH Unit within the Governing Bodies Support Service. The role focuses on promoting student participation and coordinating collaboration across alliance bodies.

The position is a fixed-term contract for 24 months, starting January 2027, with a 40-hour week and a salary at the first pay step (€1,713.31) plus meal allowance. Applicants should have a relevant degree and language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields.
• English proficiency at CEFR C1 level.
• Portuguese proficiency at CEFR B2 level; non‑Portuguese nationals must show B2.
• Applicants must submit mandatory documentation to avoid exclusion.

Responsibilities

• Support activities to promote student participation and initiatives within the EUGLOH framework.
• Coordinate and improve Alliance bodies with student participation.
• Facilitate communication among students, governing bodies and staff.
• Provide technical and administrative support for meetings and reporting.
• Maintain liaison with partner universities and international organisations.
