Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead the local HR agenda in Lisbon, aligning with business objectives and driving organizational development. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, performance, and employee relations while ensuring GDPR compliance and governance.

English proficient, manufacturing experience is a plus. The role sits with the local management team and offers growth, collaboration with international teams, and a structured onboarding

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources Management or a similar field.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner. Min 3 years.
• Knowledge of Portuguese labor law, personnel administration and HR practices (Legal & Compliance Awareness).
• Experience in an operational or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at different management levels.
• High degree of independence, accountability and results orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local HR agenda across business segments in alignment with company objectives.
• Implement HR strategies to support organizational needs and future growth.
• Manage the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, succession planning and offboarding.
• Support managers in people development, engagement, performance management and employee relations / conflict resolution.
• Support organizational change initiatives and workforce planning.
• Build and develop a corporate culture based on shared values and effective internal communication.
• Contribute to strengthening the employer brand and a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with labor legislation, GDPR, internal policies and HR standards.
