Job summary

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) seeks a Business Controller – Business Operations to join the SDO team in Alcantra, Portugal. You will lead financial planning and control efforts, collaborate with Finance Partners, Group R&A, and the Asset Accounting team to drive predictable performance.

The role emphasizes forecasting accuracy, cost analysis, and enhancing the Finance Business Partner network while supporting ERP and BI tooling use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance required.
• MBA, CMA or CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years in business controlling or FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and business controlling, explain deviations and root causes with Finance Partners.
• Prepare financial plans and rolling forecasts with Finance Partners and upload data into Jedox.
• Support Group R&A with inventory accounting, reconciliation and aging analysis.
