Job summary

Airbus Portugal SA is seeking a seasoned procurement contracts professional to draft, negotiate and optimize standard procurement agreements, aligning economic, technical, legal, and risk considerations. The role encompasses lifecycle management, contract validation, and stakeholder advisory across a multilingual, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities include contract drafting, negotiation execution with commodity buyers, and development of training materials for the Procurement Academy,

Qualifications

• 5 years’ degree or more in Business, Legal, Economics, Engineering
• Experience in procurement is desirable
• Experience in establishing & negotiating contracts is desirable
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English sufficient to engage in negotiations
• Fluency in French, German or Spanish is highly desirable
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice

Responsibilities

• Drafting new standard procurement contracts integrating requirements (economic, commercial, technical, legal, risk management)
• Revision and optimization of existing standard procurement contracts
• Preparation of negotiations and execution of negotiations with commodity buyers
• Evolution of contracts including amendments and settlements during lifecycle
• Signing contract validation forms with executive summaries, deviations, risks and opportunities
• Contractual analysis during administration and in case of disputes with suppliers
• Provide specialized support in contract analysis, drafting, design and negotiations for other Company functions
• Advising stakeholders on contractual implications of internal projects (e.g., confidentiality, IP)
• Development and training of Procurement Academy materials; coaching junior buyers
