Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a procurement professional to manage cost-effective supply of materials and services, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will support Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance with an excellent customer-oriented service.

Responsibilities include leading supplier negotiations, driving cost savings, developing supplier relationships and promoting digital procurement tools.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials & services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining safety, quality and on-time delivery standards. Internally, you will provide an excellent customer orientated procurement service to support our Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for managing the cost-effective supply of materials & services in line with company processes based on customer requirements, while maintaining safety, quality and on-time delivery standards. Internally, you will provide an excellent customer orientated procurement service to support our Order Winning, Operations, Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Drive cost savings and supplier performance in line with Grid Technology’s business goals
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management, ensuring performance, compliance, safety and customer satisfaction
• Promote digitalization, AI-driven procurement efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop strategic supplier relationships, implement supplier development programs and optimize supplier performance through scorecards and regular reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, project management, legal, operations and order management, ensuring stakeholder alignment and transparency
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, define Business Unit -specific product strategies in line with Siemens Energy Guidelines and collaborate with commodity management to optimize market opportunities and purchasing volumes

What You Bring

• University degree in supply chain, business or a related field
• Long-term relevant professional experience in procurement with engineered products or service provision in a project environment; preferably in international sourcing
• Experience in service or project business and excellent understanding of contract law
• Advanced analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills, with excellent English language skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and analytical tools, with proven success in digital transformation initiatives
• Customer-focused, collaborative and self-motivated working style, with attention to detail, flexibility, prioritization, urgency, problem-solving, decision-making and continuous improvement skills
