Job summary

Axians is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to join its Strategy and Governance team in Lisbon. You will translate business questions into practical analyses, develop portfolio management materials, and support decision-making with LeanIX data and Power BI reports.

You will collaborate with Business, IT and Finance, articulate initiatives and roadmaps, and contribute to governance processes while delivering clear, actionable insights for planning and investments.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, portfolio management, IT governance or transformation projects.
• Practical experience with LeanIX and Power BI, including data modelling.
• Experience in strategy consulting or comparable internal advisory role is an advantage.
• Understanding of IT financials, business cases and how initiatives, applications and resources connect.
• A structured, analytical approach, with the ability to break down complex questions and explain findings clearly.
• Confidence working with different stakeholders and contributing independently to agreed work packages.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, with very good English skills.
• Ability to take advantage of AI, to explore practical ways to use it in analysis, reporting and everyday work.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation and regular reviews, considering strategic fit, expected benefits, risks and team capacity.
• Analyse business requirements and contribute to business cases, roadmaps and management presentations.
• Maintain application information, ownership and dependencies in LeanIX, linking them to initiatives and business needs.
• Develop Power BI reports and data models covering costs, actuals versus forecast, resource allocation and delivery progress.
• Work with data owners to improve data quality, automate reporting and clarify cost allocation.
• Support stakeholder workshops and the introduction of governance processes, documenting decisions and following up agreed actions.
