TuxCare is hiring Staff Engineers to own major components of KernelCare and SecureChain. The role blends hands-on software engineering (about 70%) with technical product ownership (about 30%). You will drive requirements, design scalable systems, and deliver end-to-end production features.

The position is fully remote with flexible hours. You’ll engage with engineering, product, and sales teams, and influence architectural direction while solving cybersecurity challenges at scale.

Qualificações

• Proven experience owning major projects end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong hands-on Linux experience in production environments.
• Strong system design and architectural thinking.
• Experience shaping requirements into technical plans and milestones.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Advanced written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Own major product components and end-to-end workstreams from discovery to production release.
• Gather, clarify, and translate business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Define milestones and design scalable solutions.
• Build, review, and maintain production-grade components end-to-end.
• Ensure reliability, security, performance, and maintainability in production.
• Proactively communicate progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Research relevant technologies and approaches as needed.
• Contribute to engineering quality through reviews and best practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of the workflow.
