Job summary

Decskill is expanding its IT team in Portugal and seeks an experienced SRE & Cloud Support Infrastructure Administrator. You will provide 24/7 production support, manage incidents, and collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud and Support teams to keep critical platforms healthy.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux skills, cloud experience (AWS/Azure/IBM), and proficiency with CI/CD tools; you will automate operations and participate in on-call rotations, weekends, and holidays as

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of Cloud experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible and Docker.
• Knowledge of Linux and CLI.
• Experience with Shell/Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins/Travis/Concourse.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform; Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Incident Management.
• Experience in critical production environments, preferably Banking.

We are looking for an SRE & Cloud Support Infrastructure Administrator!

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 support for production applications.
• Manage incidents, service requests and production issues.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure, ensuring defined service levels are met.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues.
• Provide L1/L2 support and escape critical issues when required.
• Participate in on-call rotations, shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud and Support teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of Cloud experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible and Docker.
• Good knowledge of Linux and CLI.
• Experience with Shell/Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, particularly Jenkins, Travis or Concourse.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform.Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and/or IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Incident Management.
