adidas Porto is seeking a Senior Specialist Reporting Analytics to develop and maintain Power BI reports, queries against Databricks, and support self-service analytics across Global Product Supply.

You will translate business needs into analytics solutions, assist with UAT, and work with stakeholders in Global Supply Planning, Sourcing, Tech, and Data Domain to improve data quality and performance.

Qualificações

• Four-year degree in a relevant field (SCM, analytics, business, IS).
• 2+ years in data analytics, reporting, or similar.
• Hands-on Power BI reporting and DAX experience.
• SQL querying against Databricks or similar.
• Familiarity with SAP or SAP IBP is a plus.

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Global Product Supply Digital Process Management & Solutions reporting team is looking for a Senior Specialist Reporting Analytics to support the development and delivery of operational reporting solutions, analyze reporting issues, and contribute to self-service analytics through Power BI. The role combines hands‑on reporting development, data analysis, problem solving, and stakeholder support. Working within established reporting processes and data products, the role collaborates with business users and central Supply Chain Management analytics teams to deliver reliable and effective reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain operational Power BI reports and dashboards using existing data products, semantic models, and SQL queries against Databricks tables and views.
• Support business stakeholders in gathering and clarifying reporting requirements and contribute to the translation of defined business needs into practical reporting and analytics solutions, with guidance from more senior team members for complex or ambiguous requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot reporting and data issues, perform initial root cause analysis, and resolve issues within own area of support, seeking guidance or escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
• Support the intake and coordination of reporting requests by gathering relevant information, clarifying requirements, and tracking progress in collaboration with more senior team members.
• Provide support to Power Users and business users on Power BI reports, data interpretation, and established reporting practices, helping to promote self‑service analytics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting solutions, data quality, report performance, and Power BI development standards across Supply Planning operational teams.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), including test execution, issue documentation, and coordination of feedback.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

• Power BI Development: Practical experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Data & Technical Skills: Basic SQL skills with the ability to query, analyze, and validate data from Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms. Ability to investigate data and reporting issues and identify potential causes.
• Business Analysis: Ability to understand business requirements and processes and translate them into clear reporting requirements and practical solutions, with support where requirements are complex or ambiguous.
• Problem Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues systematically, resolve straightforward problems independently, and know when to seek support or elevate.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users and technical teams. Able to explain reporting and data topics clearly to non-technical users.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to the delivery of reporting enhancements. Ability to support UAT, document issues, and follow established delivery processes.
• Organisation & Adaptability: Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities, work independently on defined activities, and deliver high-quality outcomes while following established processes, standards, and development practices.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Four-year degree from college or university required with emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Business analytics, Business administration or Information Systems preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role.
• Hands‑on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX.
• Basic to intermediate experience writing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks).
• Understanding of supply chain planning processes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or SAP IBP) is preffered.
