adidas Porto is seeking a Manager Reporting Analytics to deliver operational Power BI reports, translate business requirements into scalable analytics, and engage cross-functional stakeholders across Global Supply Planning and Data Domain teams. You will drive data quality, governance, and self-service analytics while coordinating UAT and adoption of enhanced reporting capabilities.

  • Four-year degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards (DAX).
  • Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data from enterprise data platforms (Databricks). Python is a plus.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes and ERP systems (SAP or SAP IBP) is preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with analytics teams on global capabilities issues.
  • Manage reporting demand, triage requests, and coordinate delivery of solutions.
  • Support Power User community with guidance and best practices; promote self-service analytics.
  • Drive improvements to reporting solutions, data quality, and Power BI governance across Supply Planning teams.
  • Coordinate and support UAT and adoption of reporting solutions.

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Global Product Supply Digital Process Management team is looking for a Manager Reporting Analytics to deliver operational reporting solutions, analyze reporting issues, and enable self-service analytics through Power BI.

The role combines reporting solution development, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement, acting as a bridge between business users and central Supply Chain Management analytics teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and effective reporting solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain operational Power BI reports and dashboards by leveraging existing data products, semantic models, and SQL queries against Databricks tables and views.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Investigate reporting and data issues, identify root causes, resolve where appropriate, and collaborate with the Supply Chain Intelligence and Data Domain teams on global capabilities issues.
  • Manage reporting demand by triaging requests, prioritizing work, and coordinating the delivery of reporting solutions.
  • Support and enable the Power User community by providing technical guidance, promoting self-service analytics, and driving reporting best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvements to reporting solutions, data quality, report performance, and Power BI governance across Supply Planning operational teams.
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and adoption of new and enhanced reporting solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Power BI Development: Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reporting solutions, including DAX, data modelling, and performance optimization for operational reporting.
  • Data & Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing data from Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms. Ability to investigate reporting issues and ensure data accuracy.
  • Business Analysis: Ability to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into practical, scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to investigate reporting and data issues, identify root causes, and determine appropriate resolutions or escalation paths.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and the Power User community, adapting communication to different audiences.
  • Collaboration & Delivery: Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver reporting enhancements, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and drive successful adoption of new reporting capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactive approach to improving reporting processes, development standards, data quality, and self-service analytics through innovation and best practices.
  • Organisation & Adaptability: Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic, global environment.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year degree from college or university required with emphasis in Supply Chain Management, Business analytics, Business administration or Information Systems preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role.
  • Hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX.
  • Experience writing SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from enterprise data platforms (e.g., Databricks). Experience with Python is an advantage.
  • Understanding of supply chain planning processes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP or SAP IBP) is preffered.
