ITDS Portugal is seeking a SQL & Application Support Specialist – French Speaker in Porto on a hybrid basis. You will support Lease Applications by troubleshooting issues, performing data investigations, and ensuring smooth application performance in a banking context.

You will collaborate with development teams to identify root causes, document procedures, and communicate clearly with French-speaking clients via email and phone while delivering high-quality service.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in IT technical support, application support, or data-oriented customer support roles.
• Solid expertise in SQL, including data retrieval, filters, joins, and basic database investigation techniques.
• Fluency in French (minimum B2 level) and professional proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Handle, analyze, and resolve Tier 2/3 support tickets submitted by users to ensure operational continuity.
• Write and execute SQL queries, mainly SELECT statements with complex joins, to identify data issues or validate application behavior.
• Perform targeted data corrections or updates in the database using simple scripts or queries as needed.
• Clearly explain root causes and solutions to French-speaking clients via email and over the phone, maintaining high service quality.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to elevate well-documented bugs requiring code fixes.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions in internal knowledge bases to support team efficiency.

As a SQL & Application Support Specialist – French Speaker, you will be working for our client, a leading corporate bank within a major financial group. You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 6 years of experience in IT technical support, application support, or data-oriented customer support roles.
• Solid expertise in SQL, including data retrieval, filters, joins, and basic database investigation techniques.
• Fluency in French (minimum B2 level) and professional proficiency in English.
• Experience working within a hybrid work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and communicate technical information clearly.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Basic knowledge of database administration, triggers, or stored procedures.
• Experience with customer support in the financial or banking sector.

Language Required for the role:
Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
