Job summary

Responsibilities

• Set up, update, and maintain eCatalogues, eMarketplaces, and purchasing content in Ariba across markets.
• Support e-sourcing activities: RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and e-auctions, including training and user support.
• Collaborate with suppliers via SAP Business Network for onboarding and e-invoicing.
• Identify opportunities to increase catalogue coverage and automate Purchase Orders.
• Apply structured problem solving to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
• Analyze rebate agreements, ensure compliance, and coordinate follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement data in adidas purchasing tools including NTPD.

Specialist GBS Sourcing Operations

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION

adidas Global Business Services (GBS) plays an important role in the transformation toward ONE adidas. As part of the company’s operational backbone, GBS delivers consistent global services, improves user experience, and supports efficient ways of working across the organization.

As a Specialist GBS Sourcing Operations, you will support and execute sourcing operations that make procurement processes simpler, more efficient, and easier to use.

You will work with Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Network, Guided Buying, eCatalogues, eMarketplaces, and other adidas purchasing tools to enable effective buying channels and support sourcing activities. Using critical thinking and problem-solving, you will analyze operational challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute practical solutions.

Working in a global and changing environment, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and suppliers, adapt to evolving business needs and priorities, and look for simpler and new ways of working through automation and process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, update, and maintain eCatalogues, eMarketplaces, and purchasing content in Ariba across different markets and regions, including forms, category tiles, RFQs, and preferred supplier structures.
• Support e-sourcing activities, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and e-auctions, while managing user access, supplier registration, training, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Collaborate with suppliers through SAP Business Network to support supplier setup and onboarding, and e-invoicing,
• Identify opportunities to increase catalogue coverage, improve purchasing channels, simplify processes, and automate Purchase Orders.
• Apply a structured problem-solving approach to operational challenges by identifying root causes, recommending practical solutions, and supporting implementation.
• Analyze and track rebate agreements, check compliance with agreed conditions, and coordinate follow-up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate procurement data and content in relevant adidas purchasing tools, including NTPD, while building effective partnerships and adapting to changing business priorities.

• You organize priorities, take ownership, and adapt with agility to changing requirements, technologies, and ways of working. Knowledge of SAP Ariba, particularly Guided Sourcing, SAP Business Network, and/or Guided Buying, is an advantage.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field, or comparable relevant professional experience.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in procurement, sourcing operations, purchasing, or a shared services environment.
• Previous experience with SAP Ariba or another procurement or sourcing platform is an advantage.
