Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist in F&A - AP to support accounts payable operations. You will calculate, post transactions, process invoices (PO/Non-PO), and verify payments while upholding AP quality and policies. Fluency in Portuguese (Upper Intermediate) is required, with a remote work setup.

The role covers vendor file reviews, voucher preparation, discounts, and AP process improvements across the country, in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance required or preferred.
• Masters in Finance may be advantageous for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers. Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
