Job summary

Rydoo in Portugal is seeking a Solution Engineer for Expense Management with a DACH focus. You will drive our technical pre-sales strategy, collaborating with sales, IT and finance stakeholders, and delivering product demos and PoCs to validate requirements.

You will work within a Go-to-Market team, traveling as needed, and shaping the roadmap by feeding customer feedback to Product. This role offers a hybrid setup and aims at expanding Rydoo’s reach across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Solution Engineer or Pre-Sales or similar.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and SFTP.
• Experience with setting up or managing SaaS applications.
• Nice to have: ERP, iPaaS tools (Mulesoft, Workato).
• Solution-oriented; willing to travel to customer sites and Rydoo offices.
• Able to distill complex requirements into concrete steps for clients.
• Strong interest in sales processes and business development.
• People-first approach; strong client communication.
• Compassionate, team player.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to close more opportunities faster.
• Gain extensive product knowledge and become the most knowledgeable on the call.
• Engage with IT and Finance stakeholders to ensure buy-in and onboard during contract phase.
• Collect integration and product requirements and create value-driven solutions.
• Build and present product demos and answer technical questions.
• Conduct PoCs to validate requirements and highlight capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align Product and Sales.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure alignment during implementation.
• Assist sales in tender and bidding processes.
• Advocate feedback to Product team to influence roadmap.
• Evangelise during trade shows with compelling demos.
