Job summary

Sysmatch seeks a Solution Architecture Lead to build and lead a high-performing team of architects. You will own the architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap across domains, aligning with Enterprise Architecture and coordinating with product teams across Europe.

This remote-friendly role focuses on driving end-to-end architectural alignment, reducing technical debt, and enabling rapid, reliable delivery of features for finance clients. Strong English and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent background.
• Several years of software/solution architecture experience.
• Leadership experience (team lead/architecture manager).
• Hands-on software engineering with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects.
• Own the Solution Architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap across domains.
• Drive end-to-end architectural alignment across business capabilities.
• Actively manage technical debt to maintain long-term agility.
• Evolve architecture and platforms for rapid feature delivery.
• Improve system availability and resilience through standards.
• Provide hands-on guidance to product teams on scalable, secure systems.
• Ensure alignment between Engineering, EA, Security, and Product with governance.
