You will define target architectures, guide integration patterns, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards across global retail systems.

The role requires 7–10 years of architecture experience, knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and strong leadership in international teams.

Job Description

Join our team in Lisbon as a Solution Architect - Omni Retail and contribute to high-impact digital transformation projects within the Omni Retail scope. You will join an international and dynamic environment, supporting the architecture of scalable digital retail solutions and helping define, design, and integrate resilient platforms across global retail systems, business capabilities, and transformation initiatives.

Your missions

• Define and support target architectures for innovative and scalable Omni Retail digital solutions.
• Lead the architectural design of digital retail solutions across complex and international environments.
• Ensure alignment between solution designs, enterprise architecture standards, and industry best practices.
• Define architectural governance, guiding principles, and reusable patterns within the product area.
• Support build-versus-buy evaluations and contribute to vendor and product assessments.
• Design and document high-level solution architectures, including system integration flows.
• Review and validate proposed solutions to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Identify technical interdependencies and ensure consistency across the overall retail technology landscape.

Your profile

• Experience of 7 to 10 years in solution architecture, with a proven track record in large-scale digital transformation and retail systems.
• Experience in Omni Retail solution design and delivery.
• Experience with scalable, performant, and resilient architectures handling high transaction volumes and peak retail periods.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, enterprise integration patterns, event-driven architecture, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of security, identity management, SSO, and compliance considerations for global rollouts.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• English fluent. French, Italian, or Chinese is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, decision-making, autonomy, and presentation skills in complex international environments.
